River Oaks Golf Course is a public 18-hole golf course located in West Jordan, Utah.
River Oaks first opened for play in 1999. The course was designed by Bill Neff.
The course was built in the South Valley of the Jordan River bottom area. This course offers scenic views of wildlife and secluded golf holes. A favorite for most who play it because of its link's style of play, and challenging layout.
The course plays to a par of 70. The course has multiple tee boxes and plays to 6,346 from the back tees.

The front nine is a lot easier than the back for sure, although some of the front nine's fairways can play pretty tight. The fairways and greens are in good shape. Hole #10 dares you take out any wood you have in your bag, you'll never find your ball if you do. :-) The back is very challenging, and gets a little more scenic. Hole #14 and #17 are short and play shorter than they look, so don't hit your driver on either. #14 your ball will NOT stay on the green if you manage to land on it, and #17 your tee shot better be near perfect.

Tough course for beginner golfers. Be prepared to lose a few balls.
